SINCE 1964, THE BRITISH KENDO ASSOCIATION HAS BEEN A LEADING KENDO ORGANISATION IN EUROPE AND RECOGNISED GLOBALLY. THE ORGANISATION OVER TIME HAS CHANGED,DEVELOPED AND PROGRESSED, AND SO HAS THE LEVEL OF KENDO THROUGH THE EXPOSURE OF ITS MEMBERS TO TOP INSTRUCTORS AND ELITE PLAYERS. AS AN ORGANISATION WE ARE THANK FULL FOR THOSE LINKS AND THE KENDO BENEFITS WE HAVE DEVELOPED FROM.
Currently we have a National Team of young and talented individuals who travel overseas to gain experience in kendo and who have been excelling in their kendo abilities. We are now preparing for the next European Kendo Championships (EKC) that sits on the path to the World kendo Championships (WKC) in Tokyo in 2027. By supporting the GB Kendo Team, you are given the squad members the best opportunity to reach their full potential on the journey to the WKC27.
You will see that there are levels of support and every supporter contribution is warmly and gratefully received. But don’t stop there, catch the team in action at squad training days, all Championships are live streamed, or if in the host country of the Championship during the competition, come and show your support in person
